The WLTL Logo: WLTL's new Logo was designed in 2007 by Ryan Patena. It features WLTL's name is a flowing, almost retro looking script text. The text logo has 88.1 displayed above to remind the viewer of the station's frequency with the location of La Grange displayed underneath to show the region of the station's broadcast range. The color version is a white text surrounded by a rich blue background to symbolize school spirit by using one of Lyons Township High School's school colors. The black version contains black text on a white background for use on printed documents and photocopies. The logo design was voted upon by the 2006-2007 management board and was selected as the top choice of several different options. Previous Logos:Designed in 1998, the old WLTL logo features our format as the focal point. With Rock 88 central to the logo, WLTL proudly displays our Lyons Township High School spirit through the use of the school's blue and gold colors. (For digital reproductions the Rock 88 blue text is displayed as a color gradient. ) The stations call letters, WLTL are displayed at the bottom of our logo, along with our phone number, 708-482-WLTL and our website, www.wltl.net. The logo is traditionally printed on a black background for bumper stickers, and Rock 88 is separated from the entire logo for use on letters and advertisements. The WLTL Logo has changed several times throughout our history. If you have a vintage WLTL logo, or bumper sticker please contact us, as we would love to post these images on the website.
